From December 16 to 19, Wei Tao, Han Wei, Chen Ruhua and Su Jie went to Germany for technical training of imported equipments of surface coating materials for hydraulic concrete.
During the training, Dr. Goetz Menges introduced the basic situation of the Bruker AXS Company, and explained Company's on-line analysis of production lines and production quality control system for the trainees. AXS staff demonstrated the operation of their products, focusing on the presentation of X-ray fluorescence spectrometry instrument (XRF), X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) and other equipment. The trainees operated the XRF and analyzed the data under their guidance.
In addition, Dr. Goetz Menges also presented the new type of XRF and XRD equipment, including fully enclosed mechanical testing instrument of XRF series with an automatic hand, XRD instrument series with pressure and temperature changes test. These represent the new directions in scientific research of X-ray inspection equipment and related equipments.
